Camphive

Privacy

Last updated: August 2026

Camphive is built to be used without giving up much of anything. Most of the app works without an account, and we collect the minimum needed to run it. Here is the full picture, in plain language.

What we collect

What we store on your device

Camphive uses your browser's local storage for preferences (theme, dismissed banners, your set location) and to cache campground data so the app loads fast. This stays on your device and can be cleared through your browser at any time.

What we don't do

Services we rely on

Supabase (database, authentication, and photo storage), Netlify (hosting), Plausible (analytics), OpenStreetMap (map tiles), ipapi.co (IP-based location estimate), and Open-Meteo (weather). Each receives only what is technically needed to provide its function.
